Wk 14, D4. T25-Gamma: The Pyramid + Tai Cheng: NR4 + Full Flow.
Mid-morning workout today. Since it's Xmas eve, I wanted to get it out of the way so I could be free to play with my family once everyone got home.
Final time for this routine, and I was determined to do it as a Straight 25, and... NAILED IT!!! But I paid for it in spades! I also wanted to keep good form so I kept telling myself to do just that on all the bicep moves, and the other strength moves. I didn't get dizzy or light headed during the pike ups this time like I did last week so I was able to power through the time I was stopped previously. I am very thankful for the well placed cardio moves in the midst of the resistance moves. Totally saved me and I was able to recover as I did those cardio moves.
There were a few moves that for some reason, Shaun T slows the pace, but I wanted to push it so I pushed the pace and a few times ended earlier than Shaun T did. A couple times, I did extra reps, and a few times I took advantage of the early finish and shook out my extremities.
The reboot splits were good today, again, I was able to push past my mark and I believe this is the deepest I've gone down on my splits since starting the training. Unlike yesterday, no tingling or numbness in my feet. I feel that is a good thing. My flows were also very solid.
Happy Xmas Eve, everyone!
