7-12-17 (Wednesday) HY: P90X3 - X3 Yoga + TCF + Foam Rolling.
Mid-Week Recovery day is a must for me now especially after three brutal days of resistance and cardio workouts. This morning, my upper back and my lats were feeling it. Needed a good stretch on those parts, but that wouldn't happen until later in the day.
After a delicious shake, I went to my yoga. Today was probably the best I've done in a long time. There weren't any really bad issues, a few minor balance shakes, but my long-time nemesis move, Half-Moon was solid on both sides. Extended leg with Toe Bind and the Wrap were solid, too. Everything went really well, better than expected. Then a series of Flow to close out my morning session was clean and smooth.
In the evening, I foam rolled my lower body and upper body, especially those lats. OUCH!!! So good!
In the end, I burned a slight 274kcals. Again, the heat and humidity played a role. Last time I did X3 yoga, I turned the AC on and my burn was only about 190kcals. Today, no AC and the humidity was almost at 60%.
