Wk 6, D1. T25-Beta: Core Cardio + Tai Cheng: Neural Reboot P2 + Sequence 2.

I was a bit nervous about starting Beta today. I was a little unsure as to whether or not I was ready to move on. But I think I did pretty good. I did a Straight 25 and only slowed down a few times. I made it through both the burn outs fine, but some of those new progressions totally fried my quads. WOW! I mean they were ON FIRE!!! The progression with the Air Planks. OUCH!!! I forget the names at the moment, but WOW! just WOW!! That was a big leap up from Alpha. In Alpha mainly my calves and arches were in pain, but this is nailing my whole lower body right off the bat. Can't wait to see what else is in store for me this week. I saw in the intro sequence that Shaun T was using weights. Looking forward to more than the "NADA" in BETA.

I was also a bit nervous about doing the sequence. And as suspected, I was messy the first time around. I might get out sequence one and review just to stay current and refreshed. Much more involved footwork in sequence TWO so I will need to do this more than just what the DVD has on it. I also don't have a lot of space, so I really need to find a good position when I do the sequence so I can keep my flow up.  But one thing I have noticed is that my flexibility is getting better. Not hugely, but noticeable larger range of motion! Happy Happy!
