Wk 9, D2. T25-Beta: Dynamic Core + Tai Cheng: Neural Reboot P3 + Sequence 3. Tennis.

Unusual Monday. I have a make up class in the evening so I had to do my workout in the morning. It was nice to get it out of the way early. Not that it is in the way.

My daughter had a bad dream the other night so she asked me to sleep in her room next to her... on the floor. So I did. I woke up a bit sore. I think that affected me a bit with some moves. Again, totally NAILED the first half, but my core is just not strong enough to make it all the way through the floor C-sit progression. the side plank progression I can do no problem, but that C-sit progression is KILLER! I just can't get all the way through it. Had to take a few breaks through the first 7 minutes of the floor routine.  Got a good burn in my abs and core.

Sequence 3 went much better today. But still am working out the foot positioning issue. I need to visualize what the pose will look like in its completed form so I can position my feet accordingly.

Tennis was AWESOME! I felt SO good. I was seeing the ball well, I was striking the ball solidly. I was trying something a little different. Instead of always hitting with top spin, I mixed it up with flat and slice shots. I also tried to come in more. Volleys were very solid. My opponent was like, "Man, you were on fire today."  That is the best I've play in a while. Only one brain fart in the third set. After taking the second set 6-0, I quickly went down 0-3, and the forth game went to 15-40. I eventually won the set, 6-3. Final score. 6-1, 6-0,6-3,6-1,6-2. Since the sets were going quickly, we had time to play several sets.  After the match, I went to the gym and pumped out 20 pull ups, 14-6 sets.

In the end, I burned over 1500kcals today.
