This was what I expected! Tough and grueling but awesome. I loved the return of resistance training. I loved using the weights again. And my arms were rubber at the end. Loved the burn.
IDIOT!!! I was feeling great until the second to last stretch in the cool down. The move where you have to pull your head down. Resist a bit then release. Left was fine, but the right side, I must have pulled something because my neck now has a kink in it, and it hurts.
With a kinked neck, I thought Tai Cheng would be too tough, but it
actually helped my posture because I was forced to take that regal
posture. I did a little better on the hip tuck, but still forgot a few
times.
Now, I need to keep stretching out my neck because I don't want this pain for more than two days.
