Wk 9, D6. Tai Cheng: Neural Reboot P3 + Sequence 3 + T25-Beta: Upper Focus.
This week finally ended. A lot of work schedule changes that forced an odd workout schedule.
Yesterday I did today's T25 workout (hence the double yesterday) in expectation of not having time to do it today. Also, because I didn't think I would have time today to do a workout, I did my Tai Cheng in the morning. I got up earlier than ever to get it done. It was weird doing it in the morning. But my mind felt clear and I was able to iron out a lot of issues with food placement. I was able to focus on my hip tuck, and I was able to keep my knees pried out. Very satisfied with today's sequence, but I know I still have a long way to go.
Thankfully, I was able to get my work stuff done and out of the way much earlier than anticipated, so I ended up having time for a workout. So, although I was technically done with all this weeks workouts, I went ahead and did Upper Focus. AWESOME BURN! I think I discovered a serious imbalance in my arms, though. In the warm up when we do the Static Upper Cuts, Shaun T tells us to flex our biceps. I have tried to do that, but I just noticed that my Triceps are more flexed than my biceps. I'm not even sure I feel any flexing in my bicep. I have been doing a lot of extra training on my tris in an attempt to do Muscle Ups, but that has caused an arm imbalance. I think I'll have to do some focusing on bicep work to catch them up to my tris. Zero endurance on my biceps, too.
One more week of Beta and then I hit GAMMA! Can't wait to see what Shaun T has in store for the Strength Phase. But I'm jumping ahead of myself. Happy it's the weekend and my off day. I have some soreness in my right glute so I think I'm going to do some extra foam rolling.
Have a great weekend everyone! Stay warm and for those of you nailed by the Polar Vortex... SEND US SOME SNOW!!!
